Moving with the times to keep on top of an evolving market

While hybrids have been around for more than 12 years, less than 5% of technicians in the UK are qualified to service them, according to the IMI. This means that as electric vehicles become more prominent on our roads, garages are missing out on a key revenue stream – currently, if you search online for a hybrid or EV-certified repairer, drivers will almost always find themselves booking into a dealership. There is a real opportunity for garages to get ahead of the curve and make sure they stand out from the crowd.

We offer awards in hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance through our AutoEducation Academy, at levels 2, 3 and 4.  All of these courses cover safety management essentials, before going into various levels of technical detail.
