CEO Update March

We’re all having to make big changes to our everyday lives as the UK copes with the coronavirus situation.

At Euro Car Parts, we’re doing everything we can to keep you and your customers moving, safely and responsibly.

For many critical workers, their vehicles are now fundamental to their journey to and from work every day during the crisis, especially with public transport services now being advised against and reduced.

This includes the emergency services, NHS staff, teachers, care workers, delivery drivers and the breakdown repair service, to name just a few.

Our ability to continue to support you; the mechanics and technicians that help keep vehicles on our roads, is vital.

Keeping everyone safe

Right now, all our branches and distribution hubs remain open and operational.

We continue to work with all our teams to ensure every recommended precautionary measure is being taken to help prevent the risk of exposure.

This includes regular cleaning of our vans, branches and retail spaces, wearing latex gloves to serve customers, handle cash and while on delivery routes, and making hand gels and soaps available to all our teams with regular handwashing and cleansing taking place in line with government guidelines.

We’re working closely with our suppliers to ensure we can maintain good availability across the market’s biggest range of products and the country’s largest branch network.

Since I last wrote to you, we still haven’t experienced any issues with stock availability because of the outbreak to date and are even more prepared to mitigate against any potential impact.

As you’ll know, the situation during this crisis changes daily as government guidance for businesses and public services updates. We are monitoring it constantly and will keep you updated.

Kind regards,

Andy Hamilton, CEO, Euro Car Parts Group
