Product Recall

AmTech Spring Compressor 2pc (553773600)

We have become aware that a number of the above compressors may not meet the required
standards and could be dangerous.
The fault is that the welded nut at the top of the unit may shear or become detached, causing
loss of tension. Should this happen there is a risk of an impact injury or property damage.
These products were sold between 27th September 2016 to date and were available at all
Euro Car Parts branches, and on-line.
The affected part number is 553773600. You can find the part number on your invoice.

Action required:
If you have one of the above products, please stop using it immediately and return it to your nearest
Euro Car Parts branch
Any returned products will either be refunded or credited, or you can purchase another compressor
supplied by a different manufacturer and pay any difference in purchase price.
