Tyres are Changing: Part 2

Due to wear tyres need to be replaced every two to three years based on the current average annual mileage figures. This figure doesn’t consider any tyre damage caused by poor road conditions such as potholes. TPMS sensors/valves also need to be checked annually and replaced if required, to avoid MOT failure.

If you’re currently turning away or sending tyre related work to another garage because you don’t have the right equipment to do the job, you should consider adding tyre replacement as a service. Being able to offer this to your customers will help increase revenue streams for your workshop, boosting customer satisfaction and retention – meaning you won’t have to lose out on work to other garages.
